Moroccan illegal immigration gang dismantled in Spain

The Spanish police dismantled last week a Moroccan illegal immigration web in the locality of Granja De Rocamora, near the eastern city of Alicante.

The network was dismantled after the arrest of two members who were sequestering their co-citizens and asked their relatives to pay a ransom.

According to the local press, two victims, from the Moroccan northern city of Larache, were freed last Thursday by the police which cooperated with their relatives who went to a bar to pay the required ransom.
