Some 50 female students suffered suffocation and poisoning after Israeli troops fired poisonous smoke gas bombs at Shaija school for girls in Qalqilia, north of West Bank. Some 54 cases of typhoid were detected in the Moroccan northern province of Tetouan, the health department said. The health authorities immediately took the necessary moves to contain the fever and treat infected people, the source said, adding the latter are now safe. Polluted water is suspected of being behind the spread of the fever.
