Spy's case before court of appeal

Egypt's Supreme State Security Prosecution will send today the case file of the spy Sherif Al-Filaly, accused of spying for Israel, to Cairo court of appeal in preparation for setting the date of trial.

The prosecution seized a computer on which Al-Filaly saved information and photos of military facilities important documents and exchanged reports and messages between the defendant and his fugitive Russian Partner.

Meanwhile, the investigations carried out by the prosecution uncovered that the defendant received high-level training on gathering information and saving it on computer.

The investigation also revealed that Al-Filali was assigned to take photos of some military facilities and prepare reports on Russian arms in Egyptian army.

Al-Filali is accused of three charges concerned with spying with the Israeli intelligence and receiving funds for working against the country's interests.
