Hundreds of the Lahd hireling militias and their families who fled to Israel after the liberation of South Lebanon from the Israeli occupation has submitted a petition to the Israeli supreme court calling for offering the Israeli nationality, compensations and privileges the Israeli soldiers have got when they were serving in liberated South Lebanon.
The Israeli daily Haartez said today that since Israel's withdrawal from South Lebanon and the collapse of the Lahd militias thousands of Lahd hireling militias and their families resorted to Israel and many of them were given accommodation in hotels and motels and they get small salaries.
The Israeli paper also added that the petition also called on the Israeli government for compensations for their properties they had lost and their house- furniture as a result of the prompt withdrawal from South Lebanon.
