Eight Palestinians, three Israeli settlers were killed on Friday's confrontations

The israeli army on Friday opened its machine- guns fires and poisonous bombs against thousands of Palestinians who started massive demonstrations following Friday's prayers at al-Aqsa mosque. This resulted in wounding tens of Palestinians.

As a result of the confrontations which erupted after Friday's prayers, eight Palestinians were killed. Among them were maj. Muhannad Abu Shaddouf and Ziad Abu Sbeih and the two security members Muhammad Atleh and Ala' Abu jaab, Muhammad rateb and Ammar al-Mushanna. Some 13 Palestinians were also admitted to hospitals.

Meantime, two journalists working for international news agencies were also wounded during the confrontations.

The Israeli military sources admitted of firing live bullets deliberately on the heads and legs of the Palestinians.

Despite the intensive terrorism measures taken by the Israeli occupation forces, more than 125,000 Palestinians performed Friday's prayers at the courtyard of al-Aqsa mosque.

On Friday at dawn, the Israeli occupation forces deployed 3,000 policeman and soldiers in the surrounding of the mosque and in the neighboring roads and axes and installed moving and stationed blockades leading to the mosque in order to prevent the Muslims who wanted to perform their Friday's prayers from reaching the Mosque.

The Israeli forces also prevented Christians from reaching the Christian holy sites and gave its instructions to prevent the Palestinians of Jerusalem from heading to al-Aqsa mosque and only permitted the elderly and women.

In Hebron ( al-Khalil) the Israeli forces opened its fire on the Palestinian teenagers who tried to repel the attacks made by the extremist settlers, who broke into al-Shallah district in Hebron and al-Khalil mountain near " Kreyar Arbaa" settlement and prevented all Palestinian cars from crossing through this road.

Replying to these aggressions, the Palestinian youths fired an Israeli car and killed two settlers and wounded other two at the entrance of the said settlement.

An Israeli military source admitted this operation.

Moreover, another Israeli settler was killed near Areiha.
