Two Palestinians killed, Israeli wounded

Thursday's clashes in the occupied Arab lands between the Palestinians and the Israeli forces resulted in killing two Palestinians and wounding several others. The Israeli forces deployed armored military vehicles to the Palestinian areas to tighten the military and economic siege and carry out more acts of extermination..
The Israeli forces also continued its aggressions against the unarmed Palestinians. One Palestinian was killed by the Israeli bullets in the industrial area in Erez after he stabbed an Israeli with his knife.
The Israeli soldiers opened fire against the unarmed Palestinian civilians in Jenin city on the West bank.
The Palestinian teenagers faced the israeli bullets with stones and explosive bottles and this resulted in wounding three Israeli settlers, one of them is seriously wounded as their car underwent to Palestinian teenagers stones when it passed on the road between Barqa village and Shafil Shamron settlement in the West bank.
Meantime as the Israeli forces decided to prevent the Palestinians of the West Bank and Gaza from performing today "s Friday's prayers at al-Aqsa mosque, the committee of the Arab local councils heads in the territories of 1948 called on all Palestinians to cancel all festivities on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. The committee issued a statement in which it denounced the israeli authorities practices especially during the events of al-Aqsa Intifada in the territories of 1948 where some 13 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli fires. The statement said that the call is addressed to all Palestinians who celebrate the feats of Ramadan and the Christmas.
At the political level, the EU Me peace process coordinator Miguel Angle Moratinos said after his meeting with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat on Thursday in Gaza that the European Union seeks to halt the confrontation and bloody events between the palestinian and Israeli sides and to resume negotiations between the Palestinian and Israeli sides. Arafat urged Moratinos to strengthen the European role in rescuing the ME peace process and break the military and economic siege imposed on the occupied Palestinian areas.
Meanwhile, both Britain and the UK proposed at the UN Security Council a draft resolution calling for sending an unarmed protection force by the UN of 2000 personnel to be deployed in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The British ambassador at the UN and his French counterpart at the UN proposed that the UN security Council to agree, in principle, an international presence in the Palestinian territories and then the UN chief Kofi Annan is requested to draw the details to this effect at the consent of both Israel and the Palestinians.
France has also talked about a UN military observance force. A matter which was requested by the Palestinians in order to protect the population of the West bank and Gaza from the israeli aggressions which resulted in the killing of 300 Palestinians in the past 10 weeks.
The British ambassador noted a neutral international force. The two delegations ( the British and the French) are intending to agree a joint text that does not include certain figures for the non- armed military observers.
Both the US and israel oppose sending this force.
