Saudi - Yemeni coordination council to meet on Monday

The Saudi Arabian - Yemeni coordination council holds its first meeting since 10 years next Monday in al-Madina al- Mounawara, Saudi Arabia with the aim of discussing means to strengthening relations between the two states in all fields.
The council will also discuss tax cooperation projects and signing agreements in the field of investment, the trade and naval and air transport services, as well as topics relating to debts, development projects in the civil aviation areas and facilitating the smooth transfer of commodities and goods between the two sides.
However, ratification documents were exchanged concerning the economic, technical and investment cooperation agreement between the two countries signed in 1996, after it was ratified by the Saudi King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz and the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
Worthy mentioning Saudi- Yemeni relations have witnessed notable improvement after signing Jeddah agreement to mark borders between the two countries in June.
