Sokaina: descendent of Prophet Mohammed

That woman is best called the Princess. She had been truly princess of hearts, princess of beauty, of culture, of poetry .. etc. Her first name when she was born in 47H had been Amena, after her great grand-mother's, Prophet Mohammed's mother. But her mom renamed her Sokaina (serenity) as everyone felt comfortable when seeing her.

As she grew up, she showed more beauty, culture and wisdom. All historical sources stated that she was very pretty and very light-hearted.

She was also known for her poetry.

Her hair was fair and long and she went famous for her special hairdressing. Nevertheless, Sokaina was pious and had a strong character.

She held back her sentiments.

It is said that She had once been operated surgically without anesthetics and without expressing any feeling of pain.

She first married her cousin Abdullah, son of Al Hassan Ben Ali. When he died she married another one who was killed in a battle. She came to have two other marriages. How she came to live eventually in Egypt is not definitely registered in history, but she is actually buried here and hers is one the most noted mosques, now being visited by many who keep deep-hearted love for her.
