US official refuse to meet with al-Qaddoumi

A US official said on Wednesday that the US State Department has refused a request proposed by the chairman of the PLO political department Farouk al-Qaddoumi to meet with officials at the US state department.

News report in Washington said that the US official described al- Qaddoumi as a permanent opposition figure for the ME peace process, adding that the US state department has refused to talks to him since several years.

Worthy mentioning that al-Qaddoumi is now in Washington. On Tuesday he made a speech before the politics analysis center over Palestine.
