UAE president confers with Jordanian King
United Arab Emirates-Jordan, Politics, 12/7/2000
President of the United Arab Emirates UAE Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan on Tuesday evening in Abu Dhabi discussed with the Jordanian King Abdullah II and the Saudi defense minister prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the suspended ME peace process in the region.
The Gulf News Agency said that talks dealt with means of escalating the military Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people as well as the Arab efforts made to ensure international protection for the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza strip.
