Morocco And Equatorial Guinea Braced to Boost Agriculture Cooperation

Agriculture, rural development, water and forest minister Ismail Alaoui examined here Monday cooperation prospects with visiting Equatorial-Guinea minister-delegate in charge of agriculture, livestock and rural development Carlos Eyi Obama.
Talks focused on Moroccan assistance in farming, soil-analysis techniques, fruit-trees nurseries adapted to mild climatic conditions, supply of scientific and technical data and training of engineers and technicians.
The visiting minister voiced admiration for progress achieved by the kingdom in agri-business and requested assistance for the setting up of a scientific laboratory to take on competitiveness and standard challenges.
Eyi Obama, visiting the kingdom December 4-7, already met water and forest minister delegate Hassan Maaouni.
