Syrian - Lebanese summit expected very soon

The Lebanese daily al-Anwar said in its today's issue quoting well-informed political sources expecting that the meetings President Bashar al-Assad hold in Damascus with Lebanese Christian and Islamic figures will be crowned by a summit meeting with the Lebanese President Emi Lahoud.
The same sources expected in statements issued by the paper today that President al-Assad- Lahoud summit will be preceded by President Bashar al-Assad's meeting with the speaker of the Lebanese parliament Nabih Berri, noting that Berri's visit to Damascus is considered natural and will be made when conditions permit.
The sources considered that President al-Assad meeting with the Lebanese leaderships fall in the course of introducing remarkable relations between Syria and Lebanon on the ground of bilateral joint conviction.
