Iraq, Economics, 12/5/2000
Well- informed sources concerned with oil industry said on Monday that Iraq has not resumed the exports of crude oil from the Turkish port of Jeihan on the Mediterranean or al-Baker port on the Arab Gulf. News reports quoted these sources as saying that Iraq pumps once again oil through pipelines to the Turkish port of Jeihan, adding but there is no sign that Baghdad resumed its oil exports.
It was not also clear whether the pipeline which was closed off on Friday is working at its maximum capacity.
