Palestinian exhibit on display at UN headquarters

An art exhibit presented by the committee on the exercise of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people in cooperation with Palestine's permanent observer mission to the United Nations is held this Nov.29 through Dec.12.
Based on the theme "the land," the exhibit is associated with the observance of the international day of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
About 40 works of art will be on display. The artists are using earth, herbs, pieces of ancient pottery and pieces of old embroideries with motifs of land and trees to depict ancient legends from the history of the area.
The international day of solidarity with the Palestinian people is observed in accordance with the provisions of general assembly resolution 32/40b of December 2 1977.
