Persons accused in the US warship bombing will be tried soon

An official at the Yemeni police announced on Saturday that 6 persons suspected to be involved in the attack against the US warship USS Cole which resulted in killing some 17 American soldiers, will be presented shortly before the Attorney General.
News reports said that the same source said that 2 of the 6 persons are considered the two main convicted and the other four are employees at the civil registration department at the city of Lahj who issued an Identity Card for one of the two main accused persons.
On November 23, the Yemeni minister of the Interior Hussein Arab said the Attorney general will receive next week the file of the US warship explosion USS Cole.
The minister added to the Yemeni weekly " September 26" issued by the Yemeni ministry of defense that there are a number of persons convicted in the explosion who have been studied in terms of their links to the incident, in preparation to bring them before the court. But the Yemeni minister did not explain their number not disclose their identity.
