Moussa: 8-member committee meets in Damascus on November 10

Egypt's foreign minister Amr Moussa has called for ensuring all forms of backing to the Palestinian uprising. He stressed that the reasons that led to the eruption of the uprising are still there, namely the continued Israeli occupation of the Arab territories.
In statements he made on Thursday in Cairo, Moussa added that the follow up committee which stemmed from the recent Cairo Arab summit will meet in Cairo on Sunday at the level of permanent representatives and will hold a meeting at the level of foreign ministers in Damascus on December 10 in order to put the decisions of the recent Arab summit conference into actual implementation as well as to discuss the israeli aggression against the palestinian people. he Egyptian minister also held israel responsible for destroying the peace process, noting the big bottleneck Israel witnesses at the political and international levels amid its brutal aggressions against the unarmed Palestinian people.
The Egyptian foreign minister, on the other hand, denied news stated by the israeli mass media in that Egypt is preparing to convene a meeting between the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat and the Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak in Cairo.
