Al-Bashir: the door is open for those who want to return back to Sudan

Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir has stressed the return back of al-Sadeq al-Mahdi to the country has proved practically that the door is open for all and that the opposition outside the country and carrying of weapons are no more justified and that the homeland welcomes all those who want to return back.

In an exclusive statement to the Sudanese daily al-Ayam issued on Thursday, al- Bashir added: " we are ready to reach with al-Sadeq al-Mahdi to the end which means full partnership in the Authority."

He explained that the committee in charge of laying arrangements of the program between the government and the al-Ummah party is working to fulfil its task. He expressed his conviction that the opportunity is enough as from now until completing the elections to reach a formula that will be unanimously approved by all. He noted that other sides in the Sudanese arena are also existed and that are contacted.

On the other hand, the Sudanese President repeated his accusations to the chairman of the Sudanese opposition coalition Muhammad Othman al-Meir Ghani in being involved in Kasla's incidents.

Meantime, the first deputy for the Sudanese President Ali Othman Muhammad Taha will pay an official visit to Eritrea on Monday in order to complete talks held between al-Bashir and Eritrea's President Asyas Afourki on the sideline of IGAD's summit on the relations and comprehensive solution in Sudan.
