New Yemeni strategy to alleviate poverty

The Yemeni government has approved a new strategy for growth and for alleviating poverty. This strategy will be implemented during the five coming years.
A source at the ministry of planning and development said that this strategy aims at creating a suitable environment to alleviate poverty through implementing resourceful policies and activities and carrying out necessary social reforms.
The source added that the plan will center on finding chances to increase the income through attaining economic growth and expanding economic opportunities before poor social strata.
