Syrian PNF meets on revitalizing role

Chaired by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the secretary general of the Baath Arab socialist party, the Baath party regional leadership on Wednesday held a meeting in Damascus during which the participants debated different issues relating to ways of enhancing the role of the Progressive National Front PNF and its parties and means of reactivating public life in Syria.
The PNF adopted several resolutions including the licensing for the PNF parties to issue their own newspapers. The PNF also discussed the country's printing law and adopted needed measures to enabling the PNF parties publish their own newspapers.
