Sudan files a complaint against the US

Sudan has filed a case to the UN against the US, in protest of the entry of the US under secretary of state to Southern Sudan without the permission of the Sudanese government. Al-Khartoum has not ruled out closing of the US embassy.

The Sudanese foreign minister Mustafa Othman said that Sudan's complaint against the US was handed over to the UN Secretary general because of what Washington has done in violating the Sudanese sovereignty.

The London- based al-Hayat daily said in this regard that the Sudanese minister did not rule out that his government will take further measures that might include closing the US embassy. He said " what we are doing is just a political complaint and will not have a war with the US."
