Libyan leader confers with Somali president

Libyan leader Mu'ammar al-Qaddafi on Tuesday in Tripoli received the commander of the Libyan revolution Abdul Qader Salat Hassan and members of the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting which was attended by the secretary of the general people's committee Mubarak Abdullah al-Shamekh and the secretary of the Libyan foreign relations and international cooperation Abdullah Shalqam, discussions dealt with the need of continuing peace efforts in Somalia until peace and comprehensive reconciliation are achieved.
On the other hand, the minutes of meetings between the two countries which was signed on Monday stated cooperation in the fields of media, commerce, investment in agriculture and the livestock and the fishery.
