Barak escalates his war against the Palestinians, six Palestinians killed

Palestinian youth Asaad Khalil al-Shaghnouni ( 20 year old) from Gaza was killed on Sunday following clashes with the Israeli forces at al-Mintar crossing after a bullet went into his head. Another youth Taysir Abu Alwaj ( 12 years old) was killed after he was hit by an Israeli bullet in Khan Younis.

Meantime, hundreds of Palestinian youths held demonstrations in which they condemned the Israeli policy. The Palestinians also detonated an explosive when an Israeli military vehicles was running on the road of Karni and Natsareim settlements but the Israeli sources said the incident resulted in no casualties.

The demonstrators attacked at Hawarah village the Israeli force, using rocks and bottles. They damaged an Israeli military vehicle and wounded two Israeli soldiers one of them is an army officer.

The Israeli occupation forces installed a new military position near al-Qarrarah village, close to Khan Younis on the ruins of ten palestinian houses which were destroyed recently. It also rocketed al-Shujaeyah area in Gaza and destroyed four Palestinian houses and wounded ten Palestinians including three children.

Palestinian sources said the Israeli bombardment destroyed 30 houses in Khan Younis, Beit Hanoun and al-Mintar area in Gaza strip.

On the other hand, two solidarity demonstrations with the Palestinian people, in which took part were foreigners who live in the West Bank.

The foreigners raised banners condemning the Israeli occupation and calling for dismantling the settlements and restoring back the occupied lands to the Palestinians. The German doctor Roger Hekok, who teaches at Beir Zit university and live in Ramullah was quoted as saying " we are here to declare our solidarity with the Palestinian people. We call on the world to pressure Israel to halt bombarding the civilians. we call on our governments to raise their voices against Israel's crimes."
