SOMEPI passes solar-energy partnership with US ENERCORP

Moroccan firm "SOMEPI" and American "ENERCORP" signed in Washington Thursday a partnership agreement under which a plant manufacturing solar panels will be built and operated in the Casablanca area. The undertaking will help create hundreds of jobs, master solar panel technology and supply local market with an environment-friendly product.
The accord was signed in the wake of the USA-Maghreb conference on trade and investment held here Nov.15-16.
