Three Palestinians killed as Israel escalates attacks against Palestinian cities

Amid an Israeli escalation of the attacks against the Palestinians cities and the threats voiced by the Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak to take more stringent measures, the 50th day of the uprising left behind more killings and destruction among the Palestinians.
On Thursday the Israeli army launched raids against five Palestinian cities in the West Bank and the Israeli Apatchi planes rocketed secure houses in Selfiet, Toulkarem, al-Khalil, Areiha and Beit Jala. The Israeli bombardment also targeted the offices and centers of the Palestinian government, which resulted in killing a German doctor killed Harry Fischer ( 55 year old) after his house was bombarded.
Seven Palestinian were wounded in this Israeli attacks, while other 27 Palestinians were wounded in the bombardment against other cities. Palestinian teenager Jihad Abu Shahmeh ( 12 year old) was killed in a bullet in his heart while one Palestinian policeman was killed in Jenin.
News reports said that the Palestinian cities converted into a battlefield as bombs and rockets dropped everywhere and light bombs were lit at night times to enable the Israeli helicopters from bombard certain targets.
Clashes continued between the Palestinian citizens and the Israeli forces in the villages and cities of Gaza, Qalqilya areas, Toulkarem, Bethlehem, Nablus and Jerusalem and near Gelo settlement were several Palestinians were hit by the Israeli bullets.
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak said that all Palestinian cities are a target for the Israeli army but not the centers of the Palestinian government leadership. He admitted that Israel is facing strong resistance by the Palestinians, noting that various military measures are being taken some of them made secretly to overcome the Intifada even if these matters come at a cost of more Palestinian death.
