Algerian interior minister arrives in Rabat
Morocco-Algeria, Politics, 11/16/2000

Algerian state minister, minister of the interior, Noureddine Yazid Zerhouni arrived in Rabat Thursday on a 24-hour work visit to Morocco.

Zerhouni told the press, upon arrival, his visit was part of trade of visits of officials and recalled his Moroccan peer El Midaoui's trip to Algiers last April. These moves are made in a climate of trust and within the frame of relations based on shared and fair interests, he said pointing out there will be "no limits" in discussions.

To a question on the agenda, the state minister said all topics were open to discussion.

The two interior ministers already met in Algiers on January 29-30 for the Arab interior ministers' council, on a work visit by El Midaoui to Algiers in April and in Lisbon which hosted June 29-30 the Western Mediterranean interior ministers' meeting.
