Eight Palestinians killed, tens wounded, including six children in Wednesday's clashes

In the 49th days of the Palestinian uprising 8 Palestinians were killed and tens wounded by the Israeli occupation army.
Meantime, the Israeli occupation forces in collaborations with the settlers bombarded Palestinian houses in the cities of the West Bank and Gaza.
News reports said that the Palestinians were killed immediately after they were strongly hit by the intensive bullet fire of the Israeli forces in Areiha, Toulkarem, Rafah and that the wounded, including six children were all hit in their heads.
Eye- witnesses said that the confrontations concentrated in the surrounding of the settlements in the cities of Areiha, Toulkarem, Nablus, Jenin al-Khali and the surrounding of Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Beit Sahour.
News reports said the Israeli forces rocketed Ramullah and Rafah and that confrontation took place at al-Mintar crossing where the Israeli forces destroyed the planted lands of the Palestinians and opened fire randomly against the Palestinians who protested against the destruction.
Several Palestinians were wounded during the confrontation erupted in Jerusalem and its surrounding and the Israeli radio admitted that two of its soldiers were wounded and five Palestinian teenagers in al-Aysaweyah near Jerusalem were arrested. According to the Israeli army chief of staff Shaoul Mofaz, the Israeli forces detained 15 members of " Fatah" movement. Mofaz added that these acts of arrest were made in Jerusalem, Nablus and Jenin. A group of Israeli settlers killed a Palestinian teenager after they tightened his hands and legs and then threw him in a trench before they stoned him to death.
News reports said the Israeli settlers sniped the Palestinian passers on the road between Ramullah and nablus and the said Palestinian teenager was among them.
Meantime, the Israeli forces started to destroy tens of dunnums of cultivated lands in Qalqilya and removed their trees under the pretext that the Palestinians are hiding in it.
The PLO representative in Washington voiced backing for the continuity of the uprising. He said that the Palestinian are making the Intifada to restore back their rights because no people can stay for ever under occupation.
The chairman of the political bureau of the Hamas movement Khaled Mashaal has called on President Yasser Arafat to obstinate holding meetings with the Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak.
