Spain funds $ 2.4 mln drinking water projects in Morocco
Morocco-Spain, Economics, 11/14/2000
Morocco and Spain signed in Rabat Monday two memos on financing by the Spanish government worth $ 2.4 million of drinking water projects in northern Morocco.
The protocols, which come in follow-up of recommendations by the IV Moroccan-Spanish Commission held last March in Madrid, provide for water-supply to neighboring communities of Nador and Al Huceima. These non-reimbursable funds are part of Madrid's contribution to the socio-economic take-off of the country's northern provinces.
