Five Palestinians were killed, tens wounded in the confrontation with Israel
In the 44th day of the Palestinian uprising five Palestinians were killed and tens wounded by Israelis. The Israeli occupation forces on Friday launched missiles from tanks and planes against the city of Ramullah and Bethlehem and made a total military siege on the two cities.

Lebanese security sources said on Friday that the Israeli navy detained a tugboat in the Lebanese territorial waters and questioned the persons on its board for four hours. The sources added that Israeli gunboats opened fire in the direction of the vessel which was coming from a Northern Lebanese port and forced it into the international waters where four men on board were questioned by Israeli troops before being released.

The Lebanese daily al-Nahar said in its Friday's issue that a Syrian contingent on Thursday evacuated its positions in " Hadath al-Jubbeh" area and were not re-stationed in any other place. The paper added that " therefore there is only left in the Lebanese district of " Bsherri" just one Syrian barrier at the entrance of the town.
