International women and development colloquy opens in Fez

The international colloquy on "Women and Development" opened in Fez Friday with university scholars, authors and legal experts from five continents attending. The event organized in celebration of the city Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah University's 25 anniversary in collaboration with the Center for Women Studies and Research of the city Arts college probes topics such as "Women, development and politics," "Women, human rights and civil society," and "Women and media." Other major issues, namely "Women and Islam" and "Women in rural development," showing how topical for society development women's role is, are also on the agenda.
