Al-Shara meets with Kharazi at Doha conference

Syria's foreign minister farouk al-Shara on Friday evening met with Iran's foreign minister Kamal Kharazi.
The two ministers discussed developments in the occupied palestinian territories and Israel's practices against the Palestinian people.
The two ministers stressed the importance of the ongoing discussions at the meetings of the ministerial council of the Islamic summit and the necessity of concluding decisions and recommendations that support the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations.
On the other hand, Arab foreign ministers, members of the Euro- Mediterranean association conference resumed their meeting in Doha on Friday under the chairmanship of the Foreign minister Farouk al- Shara, who is leading the Syrian delegation o the preliminary ministerial meeting of the 9th session of the Islamic summit conference.
The participants completed discussions on issues debated by the ministers on Thursday evening towards the requirements of Arab participation in Marseilles conference of the Euro-Mediterranean association.
The ministers agreed to assign al-Shara, in his capacity as a c-ordinator for the Arab side at the Euro- Mediterranean association to inform the French foreign minister Hubert Vedrine, whose country is currently presiding over the EU, of the final position of the Arab states, members of the Euro- Mediterranean Association.
