Moroccan-Greek economic commission convenes in Athens

The 5th Moroccan-Greek economic commission opened works in Athens Thursday in keeping with provisions of the economic, scientific and technical cooperation agreement passed in Rabat in October 1975, a release of the foreign affairs and cooperation department said.
New opportunities to widen the scope of bilateral cooperation were probed in trade, industry, investment, fisheries, energy and tourism.
The two sides assessed exchanges since the previous commission meeting in 1997 and called for further involvement of the private sectors in enhancing cooperation.
Secretary general the foreign affairs and cooperation ministry, Rachad Bouhlal, who led the Moroccan delegation conferred with his Greek peer and the secretary general of the development department of Greece.
