Cairo hosts the first conference for Arab women conditions

The Egyptian daily al-Ahram said on Thursday that the first summit " for the Arab women will be held in Cairo on November 18 to 20 under the patronage of the Arab League."
The paper added that some 16 Arab states besides Egypt will take part in this summit which will be presided by the wife of the Egyptian President Suzane Mubarak, aiming at discussing conditions of the Arab women in the Arab states.
A charity party will be held on the sideline of the summit's works which will be attended by 400 figures from the Arab world.
