No dioxin-contaminated products used in poultry feed
Morocco, Health, 11/9/2000
No dioxin-contaminated products have been used in making poultry feed, the Moroccan ministry of agriculture, rural development, water and forests said.
A release by the breeding department said animal products, including those used for poultry farming, which bear the veterinary salubrity seal, provide all guarantees for consumers.
The department pointed out that batches of products containing overdoses of dioxins were re-exported intact to Spain last September insisting on stringent border sanitary controls on incoming foodstuffs destined to human or animal consumption.
