Arab telecommunications ministers' council opens in Cairo

The 5th session of the Arab telecommunications ministers' council is opening in Cairo today. The two day session at the Arab States League headquarters probes inter-Arab posts and telecom cooperation and relations with relevant international unions and organizations.
The agenda also includes follow-up of decisions by the preceding session, the action program of the coming session, the election of the council executive bureau and adoption of reports by specialized committees including the Arab telecom standing committee.
