King Mohammed launches social projects in Marrakesh

Morocco's King Mohammed VI launched Monday construction works of facilities to host the elderly and mentally-disabled at the Marrakesh-Menara prefecture.
The king who was accompanied by Prince Moulay Rachid was briefed on the complex which is the fruit of dynamic cooperation between the Mohammed V Solidarity Foundation and the local "Dar Al Bir Wal Ihsane" charity association providing care for old people and homeless disabled.
The 1.8 million usd complex will host 780 needy people and 220 mentally disabled.
The king also launched construction of an additional campus "Dar Talib" worth about one million usd to house needy students. The project will be carried out thanks to collaboration by the Mohammed V Solidarity Foundation and the local "Grand Atlas" association.
