Tunisian president offers Amnesty for several prisoners

Tunisian President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali decided on the occasion of the 13th anniversary for resuming presidency to pardon several prisoners by terminating imprisonment of many of them and shortening imprisonment sentences for others.
The Amnesty decision came during a meeting Bin Ali held on Saturday with his minister of the Interior Abdullah al-Qallal and the minister of justice al-Bashir al-Takari.
