Mubarak meets with al-Sahaf

The Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Sunday in Cairo received Iraq's foreign minister Muhammad Saeed al-Sahaf who handed him a message from the Iraqi leadership. In an arrival statement at Cairo's airport upon from Sharm esh Sheikh where he was received by President Mubarak, al-Sahaf said that the message pertains to increasing efforts in order to purify inter- Arab relations before convening the summit of the Organization of the Islamic Conference OIC.
He added that the message also deals with coordinating stances regarding the Islamic summit conference due to be held in Doha next week as well as issues of concern to the Arab stand concerning the cause of Palestine.
