Iraq to reopen oil pipeline through Syria

The Nicosia-based Middle East Economic Survey ( MEES) news bulletin said on Tuesday that Iraq and Syria have agreed to reopen the oil pipelines between the two states, closed since 1982, in this month ( November), and most expectedly in the mid of this month.
The news bulletin said that Iraq will export some 200,000 barrels of crude oil per day through this line.
In March this year Iraq stressed it had completed the rehabilitation and renovation works for this line and that it will be ready for operation in several weeks.
