Elections in Egypt

Results of the first round of the second phase elections for the Egyptian parliament were announced on Monday evening. These elections took place in nine provinces. The ruling democratic national party won 9 seats and the same number was also for the independent candidates while the opposition parties could not get any seat. And therefore the elections for this round will be repeated next Saturday over 116 seats.
