Syrian top diplomat relations with Egypt, strong and historic

A responsible source at the Syrian Foreign Ministry said Damascus has nothing to do with trespass by Some Palestinians against Egypt and President Mubarak, as the relations linking Egypt and Syria are strong and based on mutual understanding and respect.
The Syrian source affirmed that Palestinians living in Syria carried the same feeling of affection to the people of Egypt and their President and that the Leadership in Syria does not allow who whosoever to do any sort of trespass against elder sisterly Egypt.
Meantime, Farouk Qadoumi, Head of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Political Department, highlighted Monday Egypt's instrumental role under President Hosni Mubarak who backs, in full, the Palestinian cause.
During his meeting with Egyptian Ambassador to Tunisia Mokhles Qotb, Qadoumi reviewed the latest political developments in the occupied Palestinian territories in view of the Israeli massacres against unarmed Palestinians.
The meeting also took up the outcome of the recent two-day Arab Summit, hosted by Egypt on October 21-22.
Moreover, Ghassan Matter Secretary General of Palestinian Artists Syndicate stressed the historical relations linking the two peoples of Egypt and Palestine. All the Palestinian people are appreciating the sacrifices of Egypt and President Mubarak to the Palestinian cause.
