Sudan, Politics, 10/31/2000
The Sudanese people's congress party has denied to have had plans for making a wave of acts of violence during the coming election operation in Sudan, despite the fact the this party boycotts these elections.
Deputy secretary general of the people's congress party Ali al- Haj said on Monday in a statement to the Sudanese daily Akhbar al-Youm that what stated in the statement made by the party's secretary general Hassan al-Turabi, recently did not intend to make violence, as explained by some, rather criticism for the election process.
