Several killing in tribal conflict in Sudan

Four Sudanese police-men were killed and other four wounded while attempting to settle a tribal dispute erupted between shepherds and farmers in Jabal Murra province in the Sudanese state of Gharb Darfour last Wednesday.

The deputy governor of Gharb Darfour Adams Hasabullah said that tribal confrontations took place during the two last weeks in Kalbas province to the west Darfour for the fifth times and resulted in setting fire in six villages and wounding of several citizens.

During the past two years, the West Darfour province witnessed tribal incidents resulted in killing more than 500 persons.
