Palestine-Regional, Politics, 10/26/2000

Palestinian personalities accused the statement of the exceptional Arab summit in Cairo of ignoring the "Zionist policy of racism" which dictates these daily criminal practices against the Palestinian people.

In the statement issued by these personalities came that the summit also ignored the U.S dollar in supporting the Israeli policy and that its decisions were the results of Sharm El-Sheik conference, a reference to the US presence and pressure at the conference.

Among those who signed on the statement were former head of Nablus municipality Bassam El-Shakea , Moawia El-Masri, Ali Abu El-Rish and Abd El-Sattar El-Kasem.

In Damascus, the central council of the labor unions convened an urgent meeting to discuss the Palestinian positions and urged on supporting the Palestinian people in their resistance.
