Severe clashes with the police in second part of parliamentary elections

Surprises took place in the Egyptian parliamentary elections the most prominent of which is the violence atmosphere yesterday and the clashes that took place between the security forces and citizens in several cities especially these in which seven prominent members of the prohibited Moslim brothers group nominated themselves in the elections.
The surprises began when the citizens in 'Raml' area in Alexandria headed to the voting centers where they were surprised by the halt to voting due to the decision issued by the interior ministry according to a judicial verdict issued on the current month the 17th to stop voting due to which the clashes took place.
Many places in the governorates turned to military barracks where hundreds of the central security soldiers were seen near the vote committee while tens were arrested.
Ashmoun city affiliated to Menoufia governorate also witnessed severe violence for that the moslim brothers nominated Ashraf Bader El-Din causing violence where citizen Gamal Yusef was shot dead.
The police arrested hundreds of citizens among whom was the correspondent of Associated Press agency who was released later.
