Two international groups vie for power plant project in Morocco

The US General Electric and the German Siemens have presented the best bids for the construction of the Tahddart power plant in Tangiers, the Moroccan power utility (ONE/state-owned) said. ONE will start negotiations with the two companies to determine the winner.
The 400 mw Tahddart power plant will use natural gas. Its cost is estimated at $ 250 million.
