Israel refuses recieveing Palestinian laborers
Palestine-Israel, Economics, 10/23/2000

Israel decided on stopping Palestinian labor from entering Israel and to stop dealing with them in selling and purchasing to punish them for their the ongoing protest demonstrations.

Hundreds of the Palestinian laborers received letters firing them from their work places with Jewish business owners.

The Jewish employers of the Palestinian employees were exposed to assaults to their interests by Jewish extremists in order to force them to discharge the Palestinian laborers.

This has not stopped as of today as the Israeli governmental companies such as the post, communication and electricity companies still refuse the entry of the Palestinian workers under pretext of protecting its employees from any revenge acts that may take place against them. This effects the delivery of vital services in Israeli -Palestinian areas.

Some reports place the number of Palestinians working in Israel at 120,000.
