News on existence of the Saudi pilot in Iraqi jails

A Saudi official on Thursday spoke about evidence showing that the Saudi pilot Muhammad Nadera whose plane was downed over the Iraqi territories in the Gulf war in 1991 with attempts to take his remains from the Iraqi territories " is still alive " in one of the Iraqi prisons.

Chairman of the Saudi team in charge of discussing the plan to take the remains of the pilot said in a statement to the Saudi daily Okaz said that there are indicators that pilot Nadera is still alive. He explained that " certain prisoners stressed his existence in one of the Iraqi jails and this is proved in pictures and video tapes and that these evidences were submitted to the Red Cross International Committee.

The Iraqi and Saudi delegations who are in charge of defining the fate of the pilot met on Thursday in Arar, Saudi Arabia, 20 Km from the joint borders in the presence of the Red Cross delegation.
