Annan: No peace in the region without a just and comprehensive peace

The Secretary general of the UN Kofi Annan has stressed that it was agreed in Sharm esh Sheikh meeting to resume security cooperation between the Israeli and Palestinian sides and to form a fact-finding committee and to return back to the table of negotiations.
In a statement issued on Tuesday in Sharm esh- Sheikh he explained that there is no peace nor security in the region without achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
Meantime, Barak announced on Tuesday in Sharm esh Sheikh that he has achieved his objective at Sharm esh Sheikh meeting, especially as he prevented the setting up of an international ( UN ) investigations committee to the events which took place recently at the Palestinian territories.
Barak also announced that the choice of forming an emergency government with the Likud part is still on the agenda after the Sharm esh Sheikh meeting.
