Abd el-Maguid: No conflict between Sharm El-Sheik and Arab summit

Arab League secretary general Esmat Abd El-Maguid assured that there is no contradiction between Sharm EL-Sheik and the coming Arab summit, saying that there are international members and international concerns with the Palestinian problem in Sharm El-Sheik conference that will be more widely discussed than in the Arab summit.
He clarified in a press conference that the Arab states consider the participation of U.N secretary general Kofi Annan in Sharm El-Sheik conference as very significant for that has not happened before.
Abd El-Maguid urged the participants in Sharm El-Sheikh summit to force Israel on accepting the international legitimacy resolutions, assuring that the Arab states expects as a lot from this summit especially lifting the siege on Jerusalem and that Palestinian cities as well as forming an international investigation committee.
He said that the main reason for convening the summit is to discuss the status in Palestine and that there is an Arab agreement on the absolute support for the Palestinian people, taking procedures to be discussed by the Arab leaders, sending a message to Israel as well as to the whole world to the necessity of putting and end for this war against the Palestinian people.
