Moroccan - Saudi talks on trade exchanges in Riyadh

Means to bolster Moroccan-Saudi trade exchanges were at the focus of talks held Sunday in Riyadh between visiting adviser to the king, Mohamed Kabbaj, and Saudi minister of trade, Oussama Jaafar Faqih.
The two sides probed various aspects of trade relations and Kabbaj voiced Morocco's determination to upgrade trade exchanges with Saudi Arabia and promote joint investment projects.
In 1998, trade with Saudi Arabia totaled 3.85 billion DH (about $ 350 million), Morocco's imports from the Saudi kingdom being worth 3.27 billion DH ($ 297.2 million).
